Shapes for Kids Return and Exchange Policy
At Shapes for Kids, we want to make returns and exchanges as easy as possible. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return items within 14 days of receipt. However, for sale items, returns must be made within 7 days of receipt. Please read the full policy below for further details.
- How to Return an Item
We operate a no-quibble returns policy for online orders placed through shapesforkids.com.au. If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return the item within 14 days of receipt. For sale items, returns must be made within 7 days.
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at admin@shapesforkids.com.au within the return window.
- Provide your order number, a brief explanation for the return, and any relevant photos if applicable.
- We will provide instructions for returning your item(s).
- Return Conditions
For a successful return, the following conditions must be met:
- Products must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging (items must be in resalable condition).
- The original packaging must be undamaged.
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be provided.
- Products that are discounted 20% or more from the original price are non-returnable under our change of mind policy.
- Refunds and Postage Costs
- Refunds for eligible returns will be issued to your original payment method, minus any applicable return shipping fees.
- The return postage fee for parcel returns is $13.54.
- If the total value of items after your return is less than $89, you will incur a $9.95 Standard Post or $15.95 Express Post charge, which will be deducted from your refund.
- Faulty or Incorrect Items
If the item is faulty or we sent you the wrong item, please contact us immediately at admin@shapesforkids.com.au. You may be eligible for a full refund or replacement at no extra cost. Please provide photos of the issue and the product for faster processing.
- Sale and Discounted Items
- Sale items are eligible for returns within 7 days of receipt.
- We cannot accept returns for items discounted 20% or more from the original price under our change of mind return policy.
- Gift Returns and Exchanges
If you received a product as a gift from Shapes for Kids, returns are only possible as an exchange. Refunds are not available for gifts. You will need to provide details of the original purchaser.
- How to Return Your Item
- Return postage for standard items is $13.54 (parcel returns only).
- Return shipping charges may apply if the total value of your order after the return is less than $89.
- Returns must be sent to our office, and we recommend using Australia Post for tracking purposes.
Once your return is received and assessed, we will process a refund to your original payment method (excluding return shipping costs and applicable charges).
- Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at admin@shapesforkids.com.au. If your order has already been processed and shipped, please refer to our return policy once the order has been received.
- Not covered under the Shapes for Kids warranty:
- Normal wear and tear from the product being used
- Accidental breakage
- Damage sustained during assembly
- Assembly Instructions have not been followed
- Products being used in a commercial setting
- Products not being used for their intended purpose in a domestic setting
- Products not being stored correctly (most products need to be stored indoors or undercover)
- Products that have been taken to a third party for repair
- Rips, tears, stains or creasing in fabric or upholstered products
- Fading or discolouration due to excessive exposure to light sources
- Inappropriate cleaning products have been used
- Damage to product due to extreme weather events
- Consumer Law and Warranty
Your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected. If the product is deemed faulty or does not meet the expected quality standards, we will offer a replacement or refund.
